UV Film   Ultraviolet rays (UVR) are sneaky. Not only can they cause skin cancer and visible signs of aging, they're also very good at finding you. They can bounce off water, off sand, and they can penetrate glass. Which means that even if you're inside your car or house, if you're sitting next to a window with sunlight streaming in, you're at risk for UV damage.   Fortunately, the "window film" revolution is gaining momentum. It began with automobiles in the 1990's. Research showed that drivers with left-hand drive developed more skin damage on the left side of their bodies, while those with right-hand drive developed more damage on the right. The reason? UVR streaming through the driver-side windows. "Long-time drivers are found to have rougher, more pigmented skin with greater solar damage on their driver's side," noted Albert Kligman, MD, PhD, emeritus professor of dermatology, University of Pennsylvania Medical School, Philadelphia.   All of a car's windows filter out the sun's short-wave, UVB rays —all glass will filter UVB, in fact — but only the windshield in cars comes partially treated against the sun's UVA rays. However, for several years in all 50 states, transparent UVA-filtering film has been available for vehicles' side and back window glass. Please note that current laws limit the use of window film on front windows, whilst there are no

restrictions for the color shade of film used on the rear half of your vehicle. We do however

recommend using an Ultra Light shade on front windows. We carry 75% Shade in our stores.

Pre-cut window film is made to order. Please allow approximately 1-5 business days for delivery.

We use the finest quality film manufactured today for automotive and residential use.

The film mailed to you is guaranteed not to bubble, peel or fade. It's the same grade used by our tinters at our location. All you have to do is install it on your windows!   We have patterns for most makes and model of vehicles.   Installing tinted windows is something you can do yourself, but it will likely take a few hours, especially if you have never done it before. Q.  Is Window Tinting easy to do?

A. Window Tinting does take some skill for both homes and vehicles, and is not for everyone.

However, if you have a good do-it-yourself mentality and the right tools you should achieve

professional looking results with the help of our Automotive or Residential window tinting

instruction manual. It's FREE!

Q. Do you provide phone and/or online support?

A. Yes. We provide unlimited phone and e-mail support to all our customers.

Q. Is there a warranty on the film?

A. Because there is no control over the installation process, the manufacture cannot provide

a warranty on the film. This is however, the same film we use in all our tint shops that is given a

lifetime warranty when professionally installed, so you can expect many years of use.

Q. What happens if I mess up a piece of film during installation?

A. You can contact us by phone or e-mail to let us know which window needs replacing, and

you can order it at a reduced price. You do not need to buy a complete package for just one

replacement window.

* Tint laws vary from state to state, and consumers should always consult the regulations for

  the state where their vehicle is registered before applying any window film. Considered legal

Quantum Film is all Metalized. No Dye is added so the darkest shade available is 14%,

which means 14% of the light is Transmitted inside the vehicle. If you look at Factory

Dyed Glass found on the back of trucks and SUV vehicles, it's about the same light

transmission. (Able to see outline of vehicle interior.)
